SKIPPER is Back on Top (Matron!) with 2,369 (“it would have been so much more – I hit it!”) after dislodgingSTEVIE T. who is now second with 2,056 and these 2 have opened a gap to the rising TREACLE, who has jumped up from 6th with 1,540.
Treacle leads the Marsh ‘Peloton’ (topical cycling term there) that has AIDS (clearly he has now fully recovered) on 1,454 followed by SILVER FOX on 1,431 – who now holds a slender lead over SATHYA (who is he again, and where is he?) on 1,405. Sat, in turn, has a resurgent JOE on 1,396 coming up behind (painful!) and VICAR (whose prayers are now being heard!) on 1,280! At the rear of the Peloton is GREGORY with a jump up to 1,270. (The Kenyan trip did wonders for his batting but it’d be good if used the facilities when he bowls!)
There is another small gap to the next pack leader; SPUD on 990. With TIMDOG on 850 jumping the absent 12th man; SAMBO who has stalled his engine on 776. FARMER has had lots of Birthday Cake, but not amassed many points recently and is on 608, just above the mighty CRAB now up to 600 with some hitting out.
The Young Guns – DHANESH (who?) remains on 240, but a storming catch from ROONEY has given him clear water above Young FOXY who is left stirring the wooden spoon!
